Community volunteers met on Saturday November 26th (right after Thanksgiving) for our Holiday season “Deck the Walls” Party. It was a productive and fun experience for all involved.
Winter holiday decorations were placed at our two main entrances at Coit Road and on the Hearst Castle Way medians. In addition, 40 wreaths were hung on our neighborhood border wall along Coit Road and on our special bridge on Hearst Castle Way. Now, all of our homeowners and guests entering or leaving our community via Coit Road have been able to enjoy these seasonal decorations!
This annual event / activity was sponsored by our Estates of Forest Creek Homeowners Association (EFC HOA). Thank you again to all the volunteers that took an hour or two out of their Saturday morning to help support our community beautification effort. This assistance is appreciated more than you would ever know.
Our HOA Facilities Manager John Caldwell brought hot cider and our HOA President Scarlette Dale brought donuts to fuel the much appreciated EFC resident volunteers. A special thanks to the Bob Tsai family for providing a helping hand!
If you missed out on this set-up activity and have an interest to share a little of your time to help beautify our community, please consider helping us with the tear-down effort planned for January 7th. That effort is appropriately being called “Undeck the Halls” and more information is available on it elsewhere in this newsletter and on our website.
