The work went quickly and all that participated seemed to enjoy getting their hands a little dirty in order to improve our landscaping at such a focal point to our neighborhood.
This project was completed with only a negligible amount of The Estates of Forest Creek Homeowners Association (EFC HOA) money because of the donated labor and the reimbursement from the grant program.
Due to the cold, the median is sparse at the moment, but once the growing season begins and the plants take off, it should be a beautiful improvement for our main entrance.
As for the entrance walls, we have made annual color a priority and will continue to do so. We’ve chosen Pansies for the fall and bright, drought-tolerant summer annuals for the spring.
We had a “Deck The Walls” holiday decorating activity for residents in early December where EFC community members came together to make our two key entrances off of Coit (Hearst Castle & Hogan Manor), the first two medians and bridge on Hearst Castle and our entire wall facing Coit festive.
The EFC HOA Board would like to thank all of you that came out to help us “Deck The Walls” and “Un-Deck The Walls”. We had so many of you come to help that both events went very quickly, with beautiful results. It is always a pleasure to get to see our neighbors around the holidays.
