Neighbors Enjoy “Meet & Greet” on June 27th

On this recent Saturday morning, about 30 neighbors gathered at the home of John & Robin Caldwell for another one of our Estates of Forest Creek informal “Meet & Greet” events.  IMG_2306 (2)

John Caldwell, HOA Board Beautification Chair, and his wife Robin were kind to open their home to our community for a couple of hours.  Coffee, juice, pastries and fruit salad were enjoyed by all.  Everyone had a chance to get to know their neighbors better.

In attendance was a veteran representative from the City of Plano’s Property Standards Department, Gwendolyn Bryant, who spoke to the crowd and answered several questions from attendees.  She educated all on do’s / don’ts and had a few very interesting stories to share!  More questions?  She can be reached via email at [email protected]

John Caldwell gave a tour of his illustrious vegetable garden and enlightened us about Texas gardening (fyi, he is a professor at Collin College on this topic).

Jack Gary, HOA President, introduced attending Board members and gave a quick “state of the HOA” talk.  And thanks go to Billie and Zach with Edward Jones that attended and were kind enough to provide raffle winners in attendance with a couple nice door prizes.

Current HOA members that are logged in can see a full gallery of photos from this event by clicking here.

All community residents are invited to come to the next EFC “Meet & Greet” currently planned for Saturday, September 12th.  Please keep an eye out in the website Calendar and Neighborhood News for more specifics as we get closer to the event!
