We had a strong turnout that fairly well reflected the diverse demographics of our EFC neighborhood, including all ages, many young families, new homeowners, and several long-time residents.
It was a come and go informal gathering on a beautiful late Sunday afternoon. Feedback that came to my attention was very positive, indicating this social event allowed them to get to know their neighbors better (actually meet several for the first time!), while having a chance to relax and enjoy a variety of food, and have plenty of fun activities to keep the younger ones busy.
Your EFC Homeowner’s Association (HOA) provided a seeming unlimited amount of hamburgers and chicken sandwiches from “The Hamburger Man” food truck, along with the lively music, as well as plenty of games for kids and adults.
It was our first “international” themed event, and we asked neighbors to bring a dish celebrating their heritage. The selection of food was wonderful, and we now know what great cooks we have in Estates of Forest Creek!
We all had a great time and, it is so exciting to see this neighborhood become a closer knit community with the help of events such as this.

We will be having another EFC HOA sponsored social event in the Fall. Our hope is to see all of you again along with many others from the neighborhood. So, for those that came, please spread the word to your neighbors that more information to come on this later this Summer.
