An enjoyable time was had by all in our neighborhood who made time to come by Lee & Julie Harrington’s home at 7413 Breakers Lane on Saturday morning June 4th for our most recent “Meet & Greet” community event.
This quarterly informal community gathering hosted by a volunteer Estates of Forest Creek (EFC) resident and sponsored by your Homeowners Association (HOA) continues to be an excellent opportunity to comfortably and casually socialize a little with other EFC residents just minutes from your home.
Turnout for this event was definitely higher than our last few Meet & Greet events, showing promise to all that this format of informal social gathering is becoming more popular in our community.
In the hour or two most were there, all seemed to enjoy themselves. It was heartwarming to see the Harrington home filled with robust conversation and plenty of smiles. Many new friends/neighbors were met and several had an opportunity to reunite with neighbors they had not seen in quite awhile.
There was a mouth-watering spread of brunch food items to choose from, accompanied by a variety of refreshments. In addition to the opportunity to socialize, the Harrington home and gardens were beautiful to tour.
Thank you again to Lee & Julie Harrington for hosting this event. Their hospitality truly made the event a huge success!
You are invited to visit our EFC website Photo Gallery to see more pictures from this event.
In closing, please note that we are looking for additional EFC HOA members to host EFC “Meet & Greet” events in the future. Your HOA provides the food and refreshments. You open your home for your neighbors to gather. If this sounds attractive to you, please share your interest with any one of our current HOA Board members or your EFC Zone Captain know, or simply send us a short note via our website Questions/Comments input form.
