EFC Website Update + Top 5 Tips :: The Estates of Forest Creek

EFC Website Update + Top 5 Tips

First, let’s celebrate two key achievements!

Our young www.efchoa.com website will proudly celebrate its one-year anniversary next month.

And, this October 2015 WebsiteUpdateFeaturequarterly newsletter is our 4th issue to be published electronically, with tight integration to our website.

Both relatively new communication vehicles continue to get praise from our community for ease-of-use, quality and usefulness of content.  On the backend, the website has become much easier to manage/update ourselves and the newsletter is now significantly faster to create and publish.   And advertising placement is offsetting our website maintenance costs!

TIP #1:  Tight electronic newsletter and website integration helps YOU!

Did you know that every single article in the quarterly newsletter links to a corresponding “Neighborhood News” posting on our website, and within each article are typically one or more web links to related pertinent information?

This is true and Great news for you!

This way, at any time, on any day, and from any Internet connected device … Each and every Estates of Forest Creek (EFC) resident can make a quick visit to our website to revisit any of the newsletter articles (Neighborhood News postings) that have been published electronically to date. EFC Homeowners Association (HOA) members can also access a full copy of each newsletter in electronic form or as a downloadable pdf file, if interested.

TIP #2:  Take another look at our website Calendar

Besides “Neighborhood News”, a favorite helpful EFC website page to visit is our website “Calendar”, which has just been fully updated through the end of December 2015.

Our website Calendar postings include: national holidays, when our PISD school classes start/stop, key local community events, our EFC HOA Board Meeting schedule, our EFC community special events, and our regular EFC social group activities, i.e., Couples Bunco, Ladies Bunco, Mah Jongg and Bridge.

The website Calendar for 2016 will be further populated as we get closer to January and after the newly elected 2016 HOA Board holds their important annual HOA planning meeting in January that all EFC residents will be invited to attend.

TIP #3:  Visit our website more often

Although our website content is available around the clock, 24 x 7 and our quarterly newsletter does an excellent job of highlighting all the recent new postings to our website … You are encouraged to visit our website more frequently to ensure you don’t miss out on more current helpful local, relevant news between quarterly newsletters.

In addition, for HOA members, the secure HOA Members Only portal is your best source for fellow HOA member contact information in the Member Directory, archived quarterly newsletters, HOA Board activities, and other services available specifically to EFC residents.

TIP #4:  Reminder – How to Access Members Only Portal

Best to repeat the tip provided with our last two newslettes, as it explains how to access the secure HOA Members Only portal for members that have not yet done this, or those that have, but have forgotten how.  Click Here for simple instructions.  It only takes a few minutes.

TIP #5: Please give us your feedback on the website!!

Remember, our www.efchoa.com website is a dynamic method of communication to all of you and the general public about our EFC neighborhood.

As such, if you have any comments, questions, or suggestions for further improvement, we would LOVE to get your feedback. It takes just a couple minutes to share this with us, conveniently via the Questions / Comments” link under “Contact Us” at the top of each web page.

In closing, our website information is simply at your fingertips, wherever you are and with whatever internet communication device you are using.  Enjoy!
