Are you tired of paying high prices for vegetables that taste like cardboard?
If so, you and your family should consider attending this unique upcoming community learning activity, right here in your neighborhood, just a few minutes from your home!
Starting promptly at 7pm on Thursday evening June 16th, all Estates of Forest Creek (EFC) residents are invited to John & Robin Caldwell’s house at 3700 Hearst Castle Way for a 45-minute tour of John’s amazing vegetable gardens, fig trees, and pecan tree.
This will be an excellent opportunity to show your children where some of our best foods come from. It is sure to get your entire family interested in planting your own home garden in 2017. Learn about composting as well. Host John Caldwell has been generous in his offer to share his 25 years of gardening experience with the rest of you in our EFC community. And if you didn’t already know, John is recognized by many of us as EFC’s “Mr. Green Thumb”.
Interesting Fact: John’s best annual harvest at home was an amazing 560 pounds of red bell peppers, Roma tomatoes, eggplant, cucumbers and figs!!
We hope to see you there!
