Do you enjoy gardening and getting your hands dirty?
If so, please consider taking just 1-2 hours of your time to personally help beautify our Estates of Forest Creek (EFC) community with this volunteer opportunity.
Hosted by your EFC Homeowners Association (HOA), this upcoming “Planting Party” is scheduled from 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the first median at our Hearst Castle Way entrance from Coit Road.
This is YOUR opportunity to participate first-hand in completing Phase 2 of our short-term Beautification plan.
The City of Plano removed the two, old Bradford Pears and gave us a nice grant for landscaping. Our goal is for this first median to look like the endcaps at 3600 Hearst Castle Way.
Plano’s “Neighborhood Vitality & Beautification Grant” is offsetting much of our cost, but requires that we use volunteer labor.
Your HOA Board will be planting and we invite any EFC neighbors willing to help out for a just a couple hours on what we hope will be a beautiful Fall Saturday morning.
We need as many volunteers as possible, so that the work will go quickly. We have already begun to fulfill the volunteer labor requirement by removing the serpentine bushes and the final planting is the home stretch.
For those that can lend a hand, we are just saying we appreciate all your hard work and your love for digging in the dirt!
Your HOA is supplying refreshments and some tools. So, if you are available and interested in helping out, please bring any planting tools that you have … and … simply Click Here to easily sign-up online.
Thank you for this support to help make our EFC community more beautiful!
